The sculptures of Margarita Farré can be divided into two different segments: the abstract sculptures, made in the late 60´s from different materials, and the figurative bronze sculptures which she began in 1974. Her first sculptures in bronze were polished and left the gilded metal gleaming. In 1991 she abandoned this procedure and began using patination instead. Later she these parts in aluminum, painting them with yellow or red automotive paint.
In addition to sculptures, which always occupied most of her time,
Margarita also produced drawings and paintings of human figures, and
most recently created a series of abstract paintings.
